ABOUT LIMESTONE DANCERS

Limestone Dancers is a no-profit club that was formed over 10 years ago as an amalgamation of the Kingston Towners and Promanaders clubs.

Dancing is provided at
Basic/Mainstream level, Plus level, Advance level, and Round Dancing.  We have well over 100 dancers in the Club.

The annual membership fee is only $10, part of which goes to cover the cost of liability insurance.

The Club is governed by a Consitution and set of By-laws.  The Annual Meeting is open to all members.

The objectives of the Club include providing an opportunity for all members of the Club to square and round dance weekly, whenever possible, during the normal dance season from early September to early May, providing for all members of the Club an enjoyable dancing experience stressing "Fun, Friendship, and Fitness".

Limestone Dancers is a member of the Eastern Ontario Square and Round Dance Association.  EOSARDA was incorporated as an association on 22 June, 1979 in the Province of Ontario (Ontario Corporation Number 417231) and represents approximately 36 independent clubs in the Eastern Ontario area.

EOSARDA is a part of the Ontario Square and Round Dance Federation.  The Canadian Square and Round Dance Society (CSRDS) is made up of members, consisting of dancers, callers, leaders, Clubs, Associations, and Federations. The Society is organized on a national basis, with its Board of Directors consisting of a representative from each Province and Territory.

EOSARDA makes available to member clubs, their dancers, callers/cuers/leaders, the benefits of Third Party Liability insurance. The insurance policy is held by the CSRDS. Additional liability insurance, through the Federation, covers the executive of each Club.
